Church of the Redeemer, The First Brass of Sarasota and the Arts Alliance “Inspire Sarasota!” are presenting a fun evening of music, food, beer, and wine. There are two events starting at 5:00 p.m. with a concert in the sanctuary with The First Brass and the Church of the Redeemer choirs. This concert is a celebration of 50 years of church’s Bell Tower installed October 1967. The bells were cast at Rudolf Perner Foundry, Passau, Germany (Famous for its bells since the 12th Century). Following the concert at 6:00 P.M., there will be an Oktoberfest Party on the lawn with Oompah music, food, beer/wine.

The Patterson Foundation is teaming up with hundreds of organizations to present the Age-Friendly Festival at the Sarasota Fairgrounds on Saturday, October 28, 9:00 to 4:00.
All ages are encouraged to attend. There will be Exhibits, Experiences, Education and Entertainment. The First Brass Five will be performing on the outside stage at 1:45 p.m.
